About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their General Medical Ward team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a respected private hospital committed to excellence in patient care, professional development, and a supportive team environment.

As a valued member of the clinical team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. You’ll play an integral role in delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care while supporting junior nursing staff and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

 

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience in a General Medical or Acute Ward setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and critical thinking skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and maintaining annual competencies.
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster (day, evening, night, and weekend shifts).

Desirable

  • Experience within the private hospital sector.
  • Knowledge of current clinical practices and quality improvement initiatives.
