Electrical Engineer – Melksham, Wiltshire
£40,000 - £44,000
25 ½ days holiday + BH, free parking, free eyecare, discount on products, death in service, great overtime rate
Role & Responsibilities:
• On-going maintenance repair, modification, and refurbishment to Tyre Manufacturing equipment
• Fault Diagnosis, testing and repair
• Identify and implement machine process improvements
• Undertake specific projects during factory shutdown periods
• Assist with TPM / planned maintenance
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• Completion of a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent
• Exposure to PLC’s including Allen-Bradley, GE Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens
• Familiarity with AC inverter drives
• Problem solving skills
• Flexible approach to working pattern and willingness to work overtime as required
• Able to work under own initiative and part of a team
• Work to high standards with a positive attitude
• Conversant in electrical skills to perform simple electrical work
