The Role
Reporting directly to the Divisional GM, with a dotted like to the Group CFO, the business has identified this role as critical to the ongoing success and growth of the organisation.
A broad and multi-faceted role leading a team of 5, the Divisional Finance Manager will encourage the development of the accounting team, while managing upwards to influence and support the Senior stakeholders of the business with commercial and strategic decision making.
Core fundamentals of the role include oversight of the cyclical financial reporting process, as well as introducing robust management reporting tools and packs.
Commercially, you will work closely with the GM to identify areas of improvement, value add and growth (both organic and acquisitive). You'll also collaborate with operational & supply chain stakeholders to improve process, reduce cost / wastage and identify areas for improved margins and revenue streams.
Your Experience
The successful candidate will need to display a history working with non-finance stakeholders.
Preferably coming from a chartered background, you will introduce improved compliance and reporting tools, while using your outstanding communication and natural rapport building qualities to gain trust and support from your peers.
This role is suited to someone wanting to lead financial reporting, while influencing the wider business on commercial and operational decision making.
