Freight Operations Executive (MJR_FOE_1) City of Preston, England

We are currently recruiting for a client that is looking for an exciting role which is a freight operations executive. You will join a team of 6 people in the UK and a back office of 32 people.
They provide a one stop solution for their customer's logistics requirements with an excellent one to one personal service. They endeavour to support their customer's growing logistics requirements with the best technical and software solutions and in the most eco-friendly way. With the expertise and support of their staff, they are capable of finding solutions to their customers ever-changing logistics requirements.
No experience is needed as training will be provided.
Duties include:
1. Dealing with overseas agents, shipping lines and haulers.
2. Dealing with customers and HMRC.
3. Shipment quotes; negotiating and billing.
4. Customer service.
5. Day to day operations.
Salary dependant on experience
Must be eligible to work in the UK.
Candidate must have good communication skill and prepared to work within a team.
