Duties and responsibilities
Ramp Agents are responsible for ensuring passengers baggage is loaded & unloaded accurately and efficiently, as well as operating equipment. They are based outside close to the Aircraft.
- Loading and unloading of customers baggage
- Operating specialist equipment as required
- To comply with airport health and safety and security guide lines
Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ideally have previous experience in a manual handling role
- To be able to work well within a team
- To be able to work in all weather conditions
Requirements
Due to the location of work being at Bristol Airport you must be able to provide the following:
- 5-year checkable work history month & year, from and to dates, you do not need to have been employed for a continuous 5 years we just need to verify what it is that you have been doing
- Valid ID
- A valid Driving License
- Willing to undertake a criminal record check.
Hours of work
You will be given a rota. You must be flexible as this will require you to work a mixture of early, day, late and nights. Shifts can start anytime from 3am and finish anytime up to 2am.
You will work a guaranteed 30 hours per week with potential overtime available.
