A global Tier 1 multidiscipline consultancy, 30,000 people worldwide, around 2,000 across Australia, is making a deliberate strategic move into the Buildings sector. Their Defence and Maritime capabilities are already well established and they've been heavily expaning Buildings in the past few years. 

With this Growth, they need the right person to lead it in Victoria and be the face of the Building Services Division.

It's a genuine commitment, backed at the senior leadership level, with strategic expansion plan in place.

The sector covers healthcare, data centres, transport, aviation, education, corrections, commercial, and industrial projects. You'll have P&L responsibility for a portfolio that starts in the $10-20M range, with a clear line of sight to $20-80M as the division scales.

What you'll be doing

You'll be the Buildings sector leader for Victoria: winning work, owning client relationships, overseeing delivery, and building out your team as the pipeline grows.

Day to day that means leading bids on projects up to $500M construction value, managing a portfolio of up to 20 contracts, and setting the sector strategy alongside the Senior Director who runs a $160M+ business unit.

Under a one-firm model, projects can be run from any Australian office, so your ability to grow the portfolio isn't limited by geography.

What you'll need

  • Senior experience in the Buildings sector — project director, sector manager, or similar
  • Strong Victorian market relationships and a track record of winning work
  • Comfortable with P&L accountability at a meaningful scale
  • Able to lead a growing team while staying hands-on when the work demands it
