This is a privately owned building services consultancy that has been building something worth joining since 2010 Offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and a Brisbane team that is growing with intent. They cover mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire, ESD, commissioning, BIM, and ICT — across commercial, health, hospitality, education, and complex mixed-use work.

The role

You will be the face of the mechanical discipline in the Brisbane office. That means leading multi-discipline projects from brief to delivery, managing client relationships directly, and providing technical oversight and mentoring to the engineers around you.

Day to day you will be designing mechanical systems across a range of sectors, coordinating across MEP disciplines, and showing up in client meetings with the confidence to represent the business well. You will also have a hand in proposals and pursuits as Brisbane continues to grow.

This is not a heads-down delivery role. If you want to lead, there is nothing in your way here.

What you will need

• Ten or more years of experience in building services mechanical design, ideally from a consultancy background
• Demonstrated project leadership and comfort in client-facing situations
• Experience mentoring or guiding more junior engineers
• Exposure to commercial, healthcare, education, or mixed-use sectors
