The main responsibilities are:
Business
- To be responsible for establishing office P&L and actively managing it based on the business plan and flow of the business, ensuring delivery of profitability commitment
- To proactively manage the reporting and forecasting process and to provide accurate and timely information to finance and our CEO's
- To set, achieve and exceed annual stretch targets for the growth and profitability of the agency, in line with the overall growth plan. To work with each of your Business leaders to set and manage the delivery of income targets for each client account
- To ensure that all day to day financial management processes (e.g. billing, POs) are completed by yourself and your team, according to agency procedures
Client
- To develop and drive a clear set of client service principles and benchmarks that ensure that we provide the best possible work and that we drive and develop client business
- To drive an entrepreneurial spirit within your team, ensuring that our business and brands are fully understood and that opportunities for new business are developed, pursued and converted
- To act as the senior client, contact for all accounts within your control. You should build a strategic business partnership with senior clients on these accounts such that they value your tenure, input and opinions in relation to their business
- To develop and deliver a vision for the strategic development for each piece of business that exceeds client goals, adds value to the development of the client’s business, generates fresh thinking and delivers on their brand promise
- To ensure that this vision is articulated clearly and bought in to by the client and the account teams and that performance is reviewed against it on a regular basis. To continually develop this vision via close relationships with your clients and your team
- To ensure that all teams have a clear understanding of their client’s strategic and operational requirements and that they utilise this in their day-to-day management of the account
- To deliver high levels of client satisfaction across all client accounts, improving client satisfaction scores and account retention
- To conduct lead client/ agency reviews for all major clients
- To work in partnership with Business Leaders, Creative Vp/Creative Directors, Digital Production and any department involve delivering a creative product of the highest standard that wins awards and generates measurable business returns for our clients
- To build and drive relationships with Planning to ensure that we are always providing the best strategic guidance and we are seen as any client brand matters
People/ Leadership
- To lead and inspire the agency, acting as a role model and mentor being seen as a visionary, decision maker and problem solver
- To develop protocols to further improve the team’s development in the business, working with local resources to drive improvements in hiring, development plans
- Inspire, guide, motivate and manage the team to ensure that they perform at their peak and grow their careers
- Ensure that the team structures support optimal performance and that the correct teams, resource levels and skills are set against each client
- Ensure clear communication upwards and downwards
- Manage, mentor and lead your employees and support them in the management of their teams
- Ensure that all staff in the have regular performance appraisals
- To be visible, approachable and respectful to all employees
