This newly created position will be instrumental in delivering a significant financial transformation within a household name organisation. 

Reporting to the General Manager, Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing a varied team of finance professionals during a period of significant change.  

Key responsibilities:-

• Deliver the highest standard of financial accounting activities
• Provide timely and accurate internal reporting
• Drive modern, value-adding management reporting with analysis and insights to the executive leadership team and budget owners
• Develop and build upon existing workpapers and reconciliations
• Drive systems and process improvements
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders, including taking ownership for a developing a strong relationship with the external auditors 
• Shape, train and develop all members of the group reporting function to ensure succession planning is ever-present
• Identify and deliver opportunities for ongoing system and process improvement

Key requirements:-

• CA/CPA qualified with ideally a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role
• Excellent technical accounting and financial reporting skills, ideally gained within a complex not for profit or Government funded environment
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effect change in a complex organisation through rational, fact-based, and persuasive influencing
• A proven background of success gained in a transformation environment 
• A determination to achieve complex, long term goals relating to finance transformation
