Site Reliability Engineer – Cloud/On-Prem/AWS-Azure/Linux/Automation/CI-CD

Project:
For our international client in the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to design, implement and operate highly reliable cloud and on‑premise infrastructure. In this role, you will combine strong software engineering capabilities with infrastructure and operations expertise to improve reliability, scalability and performance of business‑critical platforms.

Assignments:
• Design, implement and maintain reliable cloud and on‑prem infrastructure architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP, Linux and/or Microsoft environments)
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling in Python, Go, Java and/or Bash to streamline operations and reduce manual work
• Build, operate and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, delivery and deployment
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and rapid incident detection
• Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for consistent, repeatable and auditable environment provisioning
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis and drive long‑term reliability improvements

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, GCP, Linux, or Microsoft server environments
• Strong development and scripting skills in Python, Go, Java, Bash, or similar, with a focus on automation
• Proven experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor

Languages:
• Englisch fluent (C1 / C2 Level)
• German nice to have
