We are looking for a  Project Manager, Waste Recycling for one of our clients with the following details:

Start date : Sep 2025

Duration: 5 years - renewable

Location: Djibouti

Qualifications and experience required:

• Engineering or university degree (Bac+5 minimum or master's degree) in civil engineering, sanitary engineering, rural engineering, architecture, environment, urban services or any other equivalent degree
• At least ten (10) years of proven professional experience in remediation or waste management;
• Have conducted or participated in at least one (01) project for the design and/or operation of technical landfill sites (CET) for household solid waste and similar in the context of countries similar to Djibouti
• Have at least two (02) confirmed references in technical assistance to infrastructure project owners
• Perfect knowledge and mastery of French, both written and oral

Activities:

• Expert based in Djibouti;
• Head of the ATMO mission;
• Responsible for the coordination/management of activities;
• As the guarantor of the achievement of the results of the ATMO team, to do so, he/she must validate all the missions and deliverables produced by his/her team;
• Privileged interlocutor of the ADDS and the OVD, in charge of managing relations with the ADDS, the OVD and the other stakeholders in the project;
• Responsible for the preparation and facilitation of the CSP monitoring and steering meetings in support of the ADDS;
• Conduct of continuous capacity building actions (coaching, advisory support, etc.) on technical, organizational, economic and financial topics of GDS;
• Advice to ADDS and other project stakeholders on the definition and implementation of policies and strategies
