RemX is seeking an Automation Technician based in the Chicago area.
$99k base- 50% travel, full benefit package - Direct Hire role!

Duties:
- Create technical project documentation.
- Assist outside personnel in troubleshooting technology.
- Evaluate new technologies and innovations.
- Work on functional and risk analyses with design stakeholders.
- Modify software to meet specifications.
- Train company personnel to implement and troubleshoot new functions and techniques once developed.
- Travel 50% (typically 3 weeks in and 1 week out of office per month).
Requirements:
- PLC experience (Motion control in B&R)
- Experience with Software designer (Structured text, ladder Logic, and Function Block)
- Experience with Automation Studio (B&R)
- Experience with Rockwell Studio 500
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal V17
- Experience with NFPA 79
- Experience with Rockwell Automation: Safety Automation Builder
- Experience with SISTEMA is a plus.
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Prior experience troubleshooting industrial control systems.
