RemX is seeking a Service Technician for packaging machinery for one of our premier clients in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Service area will be within a 2 hour radius of Cincy.
Pay $27-$33 Hourly * Monday- Friday 8am-5pm * Some overnights* .65 per mile reimbursement * $50 daily per diem * Work from home when not working in field*
Candidates must have prior mechanical experience.

Summary:
Responsible for repairs, maintenance, and installation of packaging equipment at customer’s facility.
Duties:
- Perform checks to diagnose and repair problems with mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and operational checks.
- Respond to emergency calls during normal operating hours and outside of normal operating hours as needed.
- Troubleshoot PLC-based equipment controls.
- Resolve customer-initiated technical issues.
- Ability to startup and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to travel to assist other company technicians as needed.
- Complete daily reports and maintenance checklists as required and send them to the customer and company admin team.
- Generate annual and semi-annual service quotes along with one time repair quotes.
- Provide onsite training to customers when needed.
Requirements:
- Strong Mechanical and Electrical experience (preferably industrial maintenance experience)
- Good Communication, Customer Service and Consultative Skills.
- Able to use computer and service software.
- Live in Cincinnati, Ohio area
- Local travel is expected with this position 100% of the time.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license.
- Good driving record
- Must have reliable vehicle, work is performed out of own vehicle- company vehicle is not provided for this role.
