Job Title: Refuse Driver

Location: Penrith, Cumbria

Hours: Full-time

Hourly Pay: £15.37ph

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Refuse Driver to join our team based in Penrith. This is a hands-on role that plays an important part in keeping the local area clean, safe, and running smoothly.

IMMEDIATE START

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving refuse collection vehicles safely and responsibly
• Carrying out daily waste and recycling collections across Penrith and surrounding areas
• Working as part of a crew to complete routes efficiently
• Conducting basic vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times
• Providing a professional and courteous service to residents and businesses

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
• Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Previous refuse or waste industry experience is desirable but not essential
