We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to deliver a tailored Careers & Workskills curriculum to children and young people with autism, emotional regulation, and sensory processing needs. This highly rewarding role requires a resilient, adaptable approach to guide students past learning barriers toward long-term independence.
Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery: Design, plan, and deliver a differentiated Careers & Workskills curriculum tailored to individual physical, educational, and social needs.

Target Setting & Assessment: Set and review personalised learning goals, track student progress, and contribute to EHCP, PEP, and LAC reviews.

Classroom Management: Maintain structured, engaging lessons while managing challenging behaviours using calm, non-confrontational strategies.

Multidisciplinary Support: Work alongside an expert team to provide holistic development and regular progress reports for families and staff.
Requirements

Qualifications & Background: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in a special school setting supporting ASC and SEMH pupils.

Curriculum Knowledge: Understanding of the Gatsby Benchmarks, national curriculum guidelines, and differentiated learning strategies.

Logistics & Vetting: Access to your own vehicle (due to location), strong safeguarding knowledge, Enhanced DBS check, and UK right to work (no sponsorship available).
