About the Role

As an aged care Physiotherapist, you’ll have the opportunity to support older Australians to maintain their mobility, independence, function and quality of life.

Depending on the role, your responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting physiotherapy assessments and developing individualised treatment plans
  • Supporting mobility, strength, balance and functional independence
  • Falls prevention and management
  • Pain management and rehabilitation
  • Mobility aid assessment and prescription
  • Developing and delivering individualised exercise programs
  • Working collaboratively with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Providing education and support to residents and care teams
  • Contributing to care planning and ongoing clinical management
  • Completing accurate clinical documentation

About You

  • AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Experience in aged care is highly regarded, but Physiotherapists from other clinical backgrounds are encouraged to explore opportunities
  • Passionate about providing person-centred care to older Australians
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Committed to supporting dignity, independence and quality of life
  • Open to exploring new locations, career pathways and opportunities within aged care
