Product Designer (UX/UI) - 6 months contract – Up to £500 a day – Remote working

My client, is currently working with an international bank who are looking for a Product Designer with strong UX capabilities and solid UI skills to join their team on a 6 month contract. You'll contribute to the design of critical customer journeys in the digital banking space, including:

• Sending payments; Requesting payments; Splitting payments; Sending money to ATM’s; Scanning QR codes to pay; Transferring between foreign currency accounts, etc.

Working under the guidance of a Senior UX Lead, you’ll be responsible for shaping seamless, user-focused experiences that align with our design system and meet high usability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end user journeys and interfaces for mobile and web banking features
• Apply user-centered design principles to solve complex interaction problems
• Deliver high-fidelity UI designs using our existing design system
• Work closely with UX leads, product managers, developers, and stakeholders
• Iterate quickly based on feedback, testing insights, and analytics
• Maintain consistency and accessibility across experiences

Requirements:

• Previous experience in UX/UI or Product Design roles
• Strong UX design process knowledge (research, IA, wireframing, prototyping, testing)
• Excellent UI design skills with attention to detail and system consistency
• Experience working with established design systems (e.g., Figma, Sketch)
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, agile teams
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Previous experience in banking or fintech (payments-focused experience highly desirable)
