1.Primary onshore operational contact and control for the implementation of the D&W Operational Programs
(Drilling, Completion, Intervention, etc.) in line with NOC HSE and Operational Standards, Laws and Statutory
obligations and good drilling practices
2- Wells expected to be delivered on time and within budget (250k$/d)
3- Control of all operational related contractors and their 1st point of contact for planning and execution of services
4- Direct reports 4/6 people at site and indirect control of all services (~100/150 at site)
HR:
Build a flawless link with all DSV’s. Support, and coach them
Mentor less experienced Company Personnel
HSE
Take a critical role in emergency response as part of the D&W Chain of Command
Ensure that all investigation into any HSE related Incident is conducted correctly
Operations
Support all drilling rig activities as primary contact with offshore rig based
Satisfy himself by daily dialogue with the DSV that all D&W rig site operational activities are carried out with all
risks identified and satisfactorily mitigated. Demonstrate adherence to NOC and Rig Contractor Policy
Conduct regular rig site visits and participate to monthly safety meetings
Discuss and agree with the DSV all critical operations in advance
Prepare and co-ordinate main contractor and 3rd party contractors site activity in advance
Review and sign off on all operational programs & End of Activity Reports
Ensure NOC CMS is applied at all times, otherwise agree any required deviations with onshore support team
Monitor (QA/QC) the daily reports of all activities including incurred cost estimates
Performance
Drive performance as an operational priority
Ensure lessons learned process is followed: capturing learnings, feedback to town, implementation on next wells
Minimize and eliminate unnecessary expense
Contracts and Procurement
Participate in Call for Tender for any drilling related services
Responsible for Rig Service Contract, including performing annual SQM and overall contract administration
All of the above is used in order to deliver the well program within time and budget and without incidents.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Post high school qualification in Engineering preferred.
Minimum 15 years drilling experience, including several years as Offshore Drilling Supervisor and at least one
successful 3 years experience in a Drilling Superintendent role on offshore operations
H2S environment and SIMOPS contexts are a plus
Horizontal wells experience highly valued (especially ERD)
Valid IWCF Level 4 Certificate required plus other training required as NOC D&W matrix (ERD especially)
Fluent in English, with strong communication skills
