Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Baker to prepare high-quality baked goods. The ideal candidate has a passion for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistent quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of products such as breads, cakes, pastries, and desserts
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
• Operate baking equipment (ovens, mixers, proofers) safely and efficiently
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent results
• Decorate and present baked goods to a high standard
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
• Manage stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients
• Work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
• Ability to follow recipes accurately
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina (standing for long periods, lifting ingredients)
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards

Working Conditions

• Early morning or overnight shifts may be required
• Fast-paced kitchen or bakery environment
• Standing for extended periods
