We are currently recruiting an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our client team in Pontefract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse and production areas, supporting daily operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently

Loading and unloading goods from vehicles

Moving stock to designated storage or production areas

Ensuring all goods are handled with care to prevent damage

Following all health & safety and site procedures at all times

Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment

Requirements

Valid RTITB Counterbalance FLT Licence (in date) – 

Previous experience in a similar FLT role and double handler truck is a must 

Good awareness of health and safety regulations

Ability to work long shifts and follow rotating shift patterns

Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

Shift Pattern

3 days on – 12-hour day shifts

3 days off

3 nights on – 12-hour night shifts

Rotating shift pattern

Additional Information

Strict no smoking policy on site

PPE must be worn as required
