Project Manager – Retail Technology (YBLD) Leeds, England

Salary: GBP22.5 - GBP22.5 per hour

Major Recruitment  is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our client with  the delivery of EPOS and self-checkout installation projects within the retail sector . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery is achieved on time, within scope, and in accordance with agreed quality standards.

 

This role will be based in Leeds Town Centre and requires close collaboration with clients, internal teams, and third-party suppliers.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours

Rate: £22.50 per hour

 Key Responsibilities:

 Manage the end-to-end delivery of EPOS and self-checkout installation projects within retail environments

 Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation

 Coordinate project resources, including engineers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

 Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle

 Monitor project progress, managing risks, issues, and change control effectively

 Ensure all installations comply with technical specifications, health and safety requirements, and company policies

 Provide accurate and timely project reporting to senior stakeholders

 Essential Skills and Experience:

 Demonstrable experience in a Project Manager role within the retail sector

 Proven experience delivering EPOS and self-checkout installation projects

 Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

 Excellent organisational and time management abilities

 Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

 Desirable Experience

 Experience managing multi-site retail technology rollouts

 Knowledge of retail IT infrastructure and operational environments
