Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias

£44,000 to £47,000 + Pension, Life Assurance, holidays
Rotating 12 hour shifts, Days & Nights - Xmas Shutdown
A leading FMCG manufacturer is looking for an experience multi skilled maintenance engineer to join the team. This potions offers excellent work like balance, with a competitive salary & benefits package.
Reactive and proactive engineering at a 24/7 production site, ensuring minimum downtime. Working on continuous improvement projects, and working in a safe manner inline with Health & Safety procedures
Role Description
• Electrical and Mechanical PPM, Reactive & Breakdown maintenance
• Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, working with a close knit engineering team
• Maintenance on plastic packaging machinery, automated lines, conveyors, blow moulding machinery
• To contribute to kaizen projects working cross functionally
• Machine installations, machine improvement projects
• Lots of internal & external training and development opportunities
• Adhering to Health & Safety across site
Skills and Qualifications
• Time-Served, Apprenticeship trained with Level 3/HNC qualifications
• Strong Background within Packaging, FMCG, Food or Plastic manufacturing
• Fault finding ability both Electrically & Mechanically
• Motivated to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLC’s, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Knowledge of Kaizen, Six Sigma and 5S, Continuous Improvement Methods
• Proven experience and drive to work in a fast-paced environment
