Overview

With the business in a strong growth phase, they’re looking for a technically minded Buyer to support the Manufacturing Purchasing team. Experience in buying within an engineering or technical environment will help you thrive here.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage daily MRP order reports; raise and issue purchase orders
• Create and issue manual purchase orders when required
• Identify and deliver cost‑saving opportunities across your supplier base
• Lead supplier engagement meetings, driving competitiveness and service performance
• Maintain accurate procurement master data to support bids and new business growth
• Support procurement projects aligned with category and business strategy

Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial and financial awareness
• Confident analysing data and maintaining master data
• Able to work independently with clear written and verbal communication
• Excellent time management and prioritisation
• Experience using MRP systems
