A global  manufacturer is looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team in a fast paced, dynamic environment. If you are the type of engineer that enjoys variety and technical challenge, this is a brilliant role in a strong team. 

Reactive and proactive engineering at a 24/7 production site, ensuring minimum downtime. Working on continuous improvement projects, and to a safe manner in line with Health & Safety procedures. This a great position for an enthusiastic multi-skilled maintenance engineer. 

Role Description
• Electrical and Mechanical PPM’s, Reactive & Breakdown maintenance
• Working within a Skilled Team
• Reporting into the Maintenance Manager
• Maintenance on fast paced lines in a high volume environment
• To contribute to kaizen projects working cross functionally
• Machine installations
• Lots of internal & external training and development opportunities
• Adhering to Health & Safety on site at all times

Skills and Qualifications
• Time-Served, Apprenticeship with Mechanical or Electrical qualifications
• Strong Background within Packaging, FMCG, Food or Plastic manufacturing. With a clear understanding of PM schedules
• Fault finding ability both Electrically & Mechanically
• Motivated to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLC’s, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Knowledge of Kaizen, Six Sigma and 5S, Continuous Improvement Methods
• Proven experience and drive to work in a fast-paced environment
