This is a brilliant opportunity to work for a progressive, UK Manufacturing business with a global presence. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exception solution-based sales to OEM’s, End Users and Wholesale/Distribution channels. You will have full autonomy in post, access to all the necessary support from engineering teams, NPD, Product Managers in order to break into leading businesses & develop existing accounts. With long term routes for progression & development this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional

Role Description
• Increase market share across the UK rail & Data Centre industries, across OEM’s, end users and distribution networks
• To be successful you will need to adopt a methodical approach, identifying key prospects, building relationships with key customer stakeholders
• You will know what it takes to get products specified and will be a solutions provider for customers. Utilising key internal resources and collaborating with team members such as engineers, product managers 
• Win in key projects – specified on major UK projects where greatest revenue potential exists

Skills and Qualifications
• Business Development experience in UK Rail Sector with consumables/components
• Sales and/or business development experience within a solutions led B2B environment – preferably with a manufacturer
• Project Management experience – ability to manage sales opportunities through the pipeline through to delivery (multiple stakeholders and both short/long sales cycles)
• Strong Networking and Relationship building
