Lead Production Operator

My client, a growing a manufacturer is looking to bolster their Production team across a brand-new manufacturing facility. Role Description

• Manage the daily plan to meet overall manufacturing requirements by applying appropriate resources to each activity.
• Organise process and workflows to optimise efficiency and effectiveness
• Checking the availability of materials, identifying potential shortages and expediting from Logistics or Planning
• Ensure that finished goods and intermediate products are manufactured according to standard operating procedures and that all activities comply with relevant quality standards
• Ensure all relevant QC and retain samples are submitted and stored as required and in a timely manner.
• Ensure any materials, equipment and contracts recommended for purchase meet the proposed requirements at the most competitive price.
  

Skills and Qualifications

• Experienced in a production environment. Ideally a medical or pharmaceutical background
• Process knowledge and some work with identifying and rectifying faults.
• Knowledge of H&S practices and able to follow SOP’s
• Work well with teams, strong communication skills
