Monday to Friday role with some flexibility

£40,000,  plus Bonus, pension + Healthcare + generous holidays + further perks

An excellent opportunity has arisen at a Market Leading manufacturing company seeking to bring an ambitious EHS professional on board. Supplying a key product to major global manufacturers, this opportunity to work for this progressive company offers long term security and technical challenge.

Role Description

• To support the achievement of the QEHS strategy, objectives, and KPIs. Including Safety Management systems (ISO)
• Support functional managers in understanding EHS legal requirements

• Liaise with external bodies/service providers, including HSE, to support investigations and respond to queries
• Lead in conducting and documenting Risk Assessments (including COSHH and manual handling) with cross-functional teams
• Create EHS toolbox talks for Shift/Department Managers to deliver at huddles or team meetings.
• Conduct audits and process reviews, collecting information and promoting improvement
• Working on short- and long-term projects in the business

Skills and Qualifications

• NEBOSH certificate
• IOSH Certification
• ISO Understanding
• Experience within manufacturing – ideally chemical or similar
• A positive “can do” attitude and drive to succeed
• Willing to train, as there is lots of training and development available!
