An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Manager to join a leading manufacturing business. You will be responsible for ensuring this dynamic business complies with all Quality legal requirements and regulations, in an efficient and customer focused manor.
The business has a strong pedigree in their market sector, has received further funding and is continuing to grow even further. It will be a great chance for someone to develop with the business long term
Role Description
- Establish and maintain a quality system to ensure all manufactured products meet customer expectations
- Work with operations and logistics teams to manage production issues and provide support from a quality perspective
- Maintain effective network with colleagues
- Monitor and advise how the quality system is performing
- Support a small quality team with product testing, control and release for the customer
- Promote quality performance improvement across the business
- Assess product specifications against customer requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience maintaining and managing quality systems
- Understanding appropriate manufacturing methods
- Understanding of Health & Safety at work practices, environmental requirements and COSHH regulations
- People management experience
- Process management skillset
