The Opportunity:
A WA contractor currently making moves in the industry, delivering a range of high-quality civil projects. My client is involved in projects both in Perth Metro area and in remote WA, delivering earthworks, concrete packages, services, and other civil and electrical packages valued at over $50 million.
I am currently seeking a Contract Administrator / Quantity Surveyor keen to work in Perth metro area within a well-structured business and team. This candidate will need to demonstrate strong commercial skills and the ability to work autonomously with guidance from the Commercial manager and Project Manager.
I need a Contract Administrator / Quantity Surveyor that is commercially strong, understands, and has worked on multiple contract types.
To be considered for this position it is essential you display the following:
Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor/CA, with a contractor, ideally in WA (potentially east coast of Australia).
Significant exposure to civil infrastructure projects in Western Australia
A proven history of long-term involvement in winning and delivering projects of $10m+ in value
Currently located in Western Australia (or committed to moving to WA)
Strong understanding of commercial management and project controls
