About the role
The role will be accountable for all core master data held within the Group’s financial systems. The position will be responsible for managing this master data through creation, amendment and replication of records, and consulting on its synchronisation with non-finance systems.
In addition to master data management, the position provides a support function to the finance user community. This support is provided and managed by a dedicate service desk application that this role will help to administer.
In consultation with the Group Finance Systems Manager the position will:
- Manage all aspects of the groups supplier and customer data to establish accuracy, eliminate duplication, and capable of underpinning automation goals.
- Identify automation opportunities across finance and promote solutions.
- Manage the groups Chart of Accounts, and optimise opportunities to support evolving business needs.
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of master data.
- Manage and support the development of the Group Finance Service Desk (which covers treasury, AP and finance systems). Triage of inquiries (automating where possible) and action/assigning requests to key resources as appropriate.
- Establish Service Desk metrics to help identify training needs or process deficiencies.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across the Navitas Group.
The person we seek will ideally have the following:
- High outcome orientation and willingness to challenge the status quo
- A renowned team player with great communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior master data management experience
- Business process redesign / change management experience
- Degree qualification in relatable discipline
- Demonstrated customer support and interaction experience
- Proactive with an ability to breakdown problems and find innovative solutions
- Strong systems background (including practical knowledge of ERP applications)
- Professional experience in accounting roles
