We are working exclusively with an award winning manufacturer based in Park Royal (North West London), the company have grown immensely over the last 4 years and their plans for the future will put them on course to become on of the most successful manufacturers in the market. Recently our client has obtained their BCORP status which is a phenomenal achievement, they are looking to continue on this path and bring on board a passionate Environmental Manager.
You will be responsible for the following activities:
• Own their path to a Healthy Planet, including; net zero, waste, water, biodiversity, packaging
• Work across the business (including their suppliers and customers) to gather input from all functions, identifying opportunities, synergies, inconsistencies and risks, and presenting proposals to the board for approval.
• Manage the implementation of Healthy Planet projects, including stakeholders, and report on progress
• Identify innovative approaches to move their business towards a regenerative model
• Build a network of relationships across suppliers to understand and influence Scope 3 emissions/extraction
• Communicate, alongside Marketing/Commercial, their progress internally and to customers and consumers
We are looking for candidates who have a real passion for the environment and our impact on it. You will have proven experience within project management and ideally a previous role as a Sustainability Manager!
