ASSISTANT BUYER WANTED FOR A MULTI BRANDED COSMETICS, BEAUTY & LIFESTYLE BRAND
Location: Greater London
Salary: £25-35k
The Assistant Buyer’s main duties will be to prepare and plan strategy meetings to attend with the Buyer. In addition to this you will be responsible for campaign planning, which includes sampling, GWP, exclusive launches, bundling etc. The Assistant Buyer will need to work closely with the marketing team to plan key supplier launches in advance. You will need to have passion for beauty; with strong communication and negotiation skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
•Organising regular supplier strategy meetings with the Buyer. Preparing in depth sales analysis for these meetings.
•Liaising with suppliers on a weekly basis to review performance and drive actions accordingly.
•Maintaining excellent relationships with new and existing suppliers.
•Assisting the Buyer in sourcing, developing and selecting multiple product ranges.
•Working on strategic campaign planning with brands, focusing on metrics such as sampling, GWP, exclusive launches, bundling etc.
•Working closely with the Marketing team to plan and prioritize key launches in order to gain the best exposure for launch.
What Skill You’ll Have
•Experience of working with multiple beauty suppliers is preferable
•Strong communication and negotiation skills in order to build effective relationships with suppliers.
•Highly numerical and analytical as the role involves administration, analysis and interpretation of sales data.
•Able to demonstrate initiative, determination and a high level of attention to detail.
