THE OPPORTUNITY

A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to join a TMS (Transport Management System) implementation project in Auckland. This is Phase 2 of the project — new build and finalising business requirements — and you'll be working alongside a collaborative team of functional consultants to drive it to completion.

THE DETAILS

• Location: Auckland preferred 
• Duration: 6-month contract
• Start: ASAP 
• Laptop and induction provided on commencement

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Working with local functional consultants based in Sydney and the wider project team
• Collaborating with an ABAP team on integration and decommissioning work
• Participating in regular meetings with an offshore team (a couple per week, later in the afternoon)
• Contributing to design, build and test phases — functional specs, SIT/UAT, defect management
• Supporting integration design including SAP iDoc-based interfaces
• Potential to extend into a WMS project if integration work proceeds

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Essential:

• Strong SAP Logistics experience — specifically SD/LE (dispatching, shipments, order-to-cash)
• Hands-on experience with SAP integrations and iDoc-based interfaces
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

 Highly desirable:

• Direct Store Deliveries (DSD) module experience
• Previous TMS implementation experience
• FMCG or manufacturing industry background
