MACHINE OPERATIVE 

We are recruiting experienced Machine Operatives to join a leading food manufacturing business in Grimsby Europarc. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a successful manufacturer producing household food products supplied nationwide. We are looking for motivated individuals who can work efficiently, safely, and maintain high production standards.

 Shift pattern / Working hours This position operates on a rotating shift pattern, Monday to Friday; 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am 

Candidates must be able to work all three shifts on rotation. 

Start date / Duration Machine Operative positions are available with immediate starts. These are ongoing opportunities with the potential for long-term employment. 

Job description As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for operating production machinery and ensuring manufacturing processes run efficiently and safely. Duties will include;

• Setting up and operating production machinery
• Monitoring machine performance and identifying faults
• Carrying out basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
• Completing product quality checks throughout production
• Recording production data accurately
• Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
• Supporting line changeovers and machine cleaning activities
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

The successful candidate: 

To be considered for the position of Machine Operative you must;

• Have previous machine operating or manufacturing experience
• Have a good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Be mechanically minded with strong attention to detail
• Be capable of working to production targets
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Be reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
• Be flexible to work rotating shifts
• Work well independently and as part of a team
