My Client a Corporate firm based in Leeds are looking to recruit an Events Executive to join their team. You will be delivering a complex mixture of events in a busy events calendar.
Main Duties:
· You will manage all in‑person, virtual and hybrid firm events.
· You will deliver these from proposal, through planning to completion, on time and within budget.
· This includes webinars, seminars, roundtables, conferences, receptions, networking events and social events.
· Where required you wil need to organise couriers to deliver all of the equipment needed to conferences e.g. stand, banners, and collateral
· You will need to keep the calendar of events up‑to‑date and project manage each event in turn, ensuring that every event has a full event plan of actions to be completed in advance and on the day.
· All events are to be evaluated and a debrief held to capture learning opportunities, and all follow up actions to be completed.
· Working with colleagues, you will ensure that all event administration is completed in a timely manner, such as sending ‘hold the date’ emails, invitations, chasers, confirmations and follow up emails.
· You will report on the events coming up in the next two months for month end reports.
Skills Required:
· One year’s experience in event management, preferably gained whilst working in a professional services firm.
· Marketing qualification (such as CIM certificate Level 4 or higher)
· Good general level of qualification, including Maths and English.
· Strong IT skills, particularly in relation to MS Office (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel).
· You will be confident and pragmatic have a positive attitude.
· Well organised with a project-management approach to your work and a high level of attention to detail.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
