My Client a Professional Firm are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join either their Leeds or Sheffield Office. The main purpose of this role is to lead key projects and work areas within the Business Development & Events department while supporting the firm with BD duties on a day-to-day basis.

Main Duties:

- Lead and support the implementation of all related marketing and business development activities for a number of fee-earning teams.
- Support the creation and implementation business development annual strategies and activities.
- Be the key BD contact for the fee-earning teams, to immerse yourself in their market requirements.
- Support the implementation of all related marketing and business development activities.
- Support head of business development & events to implement strategy in line with firm and departmental business strategies and action plans.
- Build and maintain relevant relationships across the business.
- Support and implementation of the X and LinkedIn strategies across the firm accounts.
- Responsible for editing and maintaining content for website across the firm, including preparing content and supporting fee-earning colleagues with content.
- Responsible for creating, editing and maintaining content for social media across the firm, including preparing content and supporting fee-earning colleagues with content.
- Engage with the planning and facilitation of media content recording and creation.
- Oversee the integrated media content campaigns.
- Strategically advise on content and tone during tender creation.
- Implement the Chance of Success Score process during the tender assessment stage.
- Lead the BD support for fee-earning teams with responses to tender including content creation and pitch rehearsal.
- Support and encourage creation and management of central tender resources.
- Researching tender opportunities within suitable markets for relevant fee-earning teams.

- Experience of using social media platforms, X and LinkedIn.

- Able to take instruction and work on initiative.
- Good IT literacy, including an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and a working knowledge of Microsoft - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to produce presentations, spreadsheets, documents etc.
- Experience of Adobe Creative Cloud is desirable not essential.
- Experience of Zoom and MS Teams desirable.
- Experience with CRM systems is desirable.
- A desire and willingness to learn new systems and technologies when introduced by the firm.
