Senior Intellectual Property Paralegal

My client a leading legal firm which specialises in intellectual property (IP) services covering patents, trade marks, designs and copyright in the UK, Europe and worldwide are looking to recruit a Senior Intellectual Property (IP) Paralegal.
Main Duties:
- Proactive in ensuring the efficiency of the team, liaising with the Process & Training Manger/HR where applicable to enhance team performance where necessary
- Notifies Systems Manager of efficiencies in EQ whilst providing clear examples of how to solve the problem / examples of new pre-sets where required
- Preparation and checking of complex reports including client reports. This would include careful checking of data which requires substantial knowledge of law/Equinox
- Preparation of opposition, invalidation and revocation papers for filing at the UK IPO and EUIPO
- Applying to record licences, security interests, assignments, mergers, Changes of Name, Changes of Address and Changes of Address for Service in the UK and EU, on the International Register, orin foreign countries
- Deal with Domain name tasks
- Perform final check of all outgoing correspondence to ensure the case is up-to-date once a process is completed by the IP Administrator, following the appropriate checklist
- Manage CDDR process, ensuring that all correct dates are in Equinox vs data on CDDR spreadsheet from Renewals
- Work with FEs and IP administrators to ensure that tasks are completed for that day before close
of business hours
Skills Required:
- In depth IP portfolio and procedural experience (4-5 years)
- CIPA qualification in Patent Administration / CITMA Paralegal qualification
- High level of knowledge of IP portfolio management system(s)
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office software
- Good computer, IT and database management knowledge
- Excellent level of English language
- An enthusiastic, highly motivated and pro-active attitude
- Excellent attention to detail, working consistently to high standards
