About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Employment Solicitor to join our specialist employment team. This senior role is ideal for a solicitor with deep technical knowledge of employment law, capable of advising on complex employment matters, leading cases, and providing guidance to clients and junior fee earners.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as the lead solicitor on complex employment law matters, including litigation, tribunals, and advisory work
Providing expert technical advice on contracts, policies, employee relations, redundancies, and workplace disputes
Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements, and HR policies
Advising clients on compliance with employment legislation and best practice
Mentoring and supervising junior solicitors and fee earners
Managing a caseload independently while maintaining high standards of client care
Contributing to business development and strategic initiatives within the employment team
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor with significant PQE (typically 7+ years) in employment law
Proven experience handling complex employment cases and advisory work
Strong knowledge of employment legislation, tribunal procedures, and case law
Excellent communication, drafting, and analytical skills
Leadership and mentoring experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure
