Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Core Skills

• Strong electrical maintenance background (fault finding, PLC knowledge, control panels, sensors, motors).

• Solid mechanical skills (gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulics/pneumatics).

• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food, or industrial environments.

• Competent with PPM, reactive maintenance, and continuous improvement.

• Ability to work autonomously and within a team.

Qualifications

• Time-served or Level 3 Electrical/Electro-Mechanical qualification.

• 18th Edition desirable.

• CMMS experience beneficial.

• Mechanical or MHE tickets an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance.

• Quickly diagnose and resolve breakdowns to reduce downtime.

• Support reliability improvements and plant upgrades.

• Work safely and ensure compliance with site procedures.

• Liaise with production teams to identify potential issues.

• Support small installations and project work.
