Hampshire County Council has a unique and exciting opportunity for a highly driven SAP Development Lead to manage our ABAP and Fiori/UI5 development team.
The team is currently working on a major business improvement programme as part of Hampshire County Councils digital strategy, so this is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and working with the latest SAP technologies. will also play a key role in transforming the team structure as we seek to expand and diversify our existing talent.

Your Responsibilities:
- Manage ABAP and Fiori/UI5 resources.
- Ensure resource estimates are accurate.
- Maintain resource plans for agreed projects.
- Manage delivery of project build phase to agreed timelines.
- Manage BAU activity.
- Ensure completion of technical documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process rationalization/improvement.
- Ensure corporate standards are adhered to.
- Act as an escalation point for the development team.
Essential
- Good understanding of the following SAP technologies: - ABAP, Fiori/UI5 (desirable)
- Worked in a lead role previously.
- Significant SAP development experience.
- Proven record in designing and delivering solutions.
- Experience of working within a controlled project environment.
- Experience managing build on SAP projects.
- Good understanding of SAP change and transport management processes.
- Ability to work on your own initiative to solve complex problems.
