Legal Admin Assistant
Vinova are working with a leading business to appoint a Legal Admin Assistant into its Sydney-based team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator who wants to build their career within an in-house Legal environment. You’ll take ownership of key administrative and billing processes while providing broader support to a busy team of legal professionals.
The role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to develop valuable experience across legal operations, billing, systems and wider team support.
About the role
You’ll provide day-to-day administrative support to the Legal team, with billing and invoice management forming a key part of your responsibilities.
You’ll work across the business and with external suppliers to ensure invoices, purchase orders and related processes are managed accurately and efficiently.
Alongside billing, you’ll provide broader administrative support and help ensure the team remains organised and operates effectively.
Duties

Manage invoices, purchase orders and related billing processes

Resolve billing queries with internal teams and external suppliers

Coordinate monthly accruals and maintain accurate, audit-ready records

Support diaries, meetings, documents, expenses, travel and wider team administration
Skills & experience

Previous experience in an administrative or team support role, ideally within legal or professional services

Exposure to billing, invoicing, accounts payable or similar processes

Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and communication skills

Confidence with systems and Excel; ERP system experience is advantageous but not essential

Ability to manage confidential information and balance multiple priorities
