Document Support Specialist (A1466035B) Boston, Massachusetts

Salary: USD35 - USD35 per hour

Our client, a law firm located in Boston, is seeking a Document Support Specialist for a 3+ month contract assignment. This position begins with a 9:00 AM-5:00 PM training schedule, transitioning to a regular 5:00 PM-12:30 AM evening shift. The role pays $35/hour and is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative or document production professional with strong technical and document management skills. Job Responsibilities

  • Provide document production and support services to attorneys, professionals, and staff.
  • Respond to and resolve document-related requests and technical issues.
  • Create, edit, format, and proof complex documents using advanced word processing tools.
  • Convert documents between software platforms and manage PDF editing.
  • Perform transcription, document cleanup, and formatting tasks.
  • Produce presentations, organizational charts, correspondence, and mail merges.
  • Monitor requests to ensure timely completion and user satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot document production issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain expertise in company software, procedures, and legal terminology.
  • Collaborate with team members to balance workloads and meet deadlines.

 

Candidate Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of administrative, secretarial, or document production experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, PDF editing, and document management software.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Professional, customer-service-oriented approach with the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and quick to learn new systems and processes.
