This temporary Director of Business Operations role is with a large, mission-driven nonprofit organization in Framingham, MA. The assignment is open-ended with the possibility of becoming permanent, and the pay is $21.50/hr with free parking and easy access to the Framingham commuter rail.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day clinic operations, including supervision of office and billing staff.
• Support residential recovery programs with invoicing, procurement, and billing.
• Prepare financial reports and bill contracts in collaboration with the A&F analyst.
• Approve vendor payments and ensure accurate GL coding.
• Develop and submit required billing reports for funding sources.
• Partner with division leadership to analyze trends, productivity, costs, and financial models.
• Review monthly outcomes and performance data with clinical teams and leadership.
• Serve as SME for billing systems and contribute to EHR evolution.
• Monitor billing, collections, authorizations, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance, confidentiality, and effective communication across programs.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Background in behavioral health operations and third-party billing.
• Management and project coordination experience.
• Strong software skills and familiarity with Electronic Health Records.
• Ability to work with technology vendors and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills and experience with reporting.
