A mission-driven human services organization in Boston, MA is seeking a Haitian Creole Interpreter for a 6-month temporary, 100% onsite assignment starting ASAP. This role pays $25–27 per hour and is scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, supporting clear and culturally appropriate communication for Haitian Creole–speaking individuals through in-person interpretation and translation services. Job Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, culturally appropriate interpretation between Haitian Creole and English in client meetings, medical appointments, social services, and community outreach settings
• Facilitate clear communication between clients and staff to ensure understanding and quality service delivery
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional interpreting standards
• Assist with written translation of documents as needed
• Support an inclusive and accessible environment for Haitian Creole–speaking individuals

Candidate Qualifications

• Fluency in Haitian Creole and English (spoken and written)
• Prior interpreting experience in human services, healthcare, or nonprofit settings preferred
• Interpreter training or certification preferred
• Strong understanding of confidentiality requirements and ethical standards
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and professionalism skills
