Salary: USD20 - USD25 per hour

Our client, a prestigious academic institution, is seeking a Testing Center Coordinator to support its Registrar’s Office and affiliated departments in overseeing exam accommodations and Testing Center operations. This onsite, 3-month contract role is based in Boston, runs 35 hours per week (9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday), and offers hourly pay between $20-$25/hr within a higher education environment focused on accessibility and student support.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate exam scheduling, space assignments, and exam administration for students with registered accommodations
  • Serve as the Testing Center receptionist, greeting visitors and answering phone calls
  • Communicate with students and faculty to gather exam materials, resolve scheduling conflicts, and clarify testing procedures
  • Prepare, organize, distribute, collect, and count exam packets
  • Support the Testing Center exam management system and maintain accurate records
  • Proctor exams, monitor testing rooms, and address accommodation-related questions during exams
  • Perform administrative tasks including organizing files, distributing mail, and maintaining office supply inventory

Candidate Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of academic, administrative, and customer service experience
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and discretion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn specialized software and operate office equipment
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak periods and lift up to 50 lbs
