Role: Interface Project Engineer
Location: 1 -Topsides/onshore Facilities Offices Paris & 1 (GBS) Offices Paris.
Reporting line: TSOF Interface Manager

Key Stakeholders: Company LNG Plant Team, Company Field Team, Company Port Team, ALNG2 Operating Company representatives, GBS EPC Contractor, TSOF EPC Contractor, Field Engineering and Construction Contractors and Port Engineering and Construction Contractors
Purpose and Objectives:
Purpose of the job is to assist Company LNG Train Interface & Integration Manager in the coordination of Engineering, Commissioning and Construction interfaces, as required during the detail design phase of the GBS and Topsides otherwise known as LNG Train.
The role will require the Interface Project Engineer to take a lead role in the performance of the following key activities, but not limited to;
Managing the provision of engineering and design information in a timely manner between parties as required to support the associated stakeholders / project Contractors meeting their individual contractual commitments
Development of key initiatives and focus areas such as the provision of start-up utilities at Gydan
Identify the need for and ensure appropriate reviews and audits are implemented to support assurance of interface management performance
Monitoring EPC Contractor critical interface milestones to ensure the provision of key engineering, commissioning or construction data between parties on time
Proactive management of interface information requests within Contractors interface database
Proactively support the development and implementation of Company Interface Management system
Support Company as required to close-out Contractor claims for additional cost and extension of time with the provision of required interface information and records
Support the Company Project Management team Engineering Managers, Delivery Managers, Technical Leads, Project Directors, Plant operation representatives and other senior managers, as necessary during the execution of the project through to LNG plant start-up and gas export
Support project execution risk and opportunity workshops and reviews
Ensure that Company interface actions are completed in a timely and quality manner
Ensure that EPC Contractors comply with contractual interface protocols, interface responsibility matrices and contractual scopes of work as necessary to support facility development and contract execution
Proactively support weekly and monthly interface management meetings as required to close outstanding interface issues
Other similar and related activities which may be deemed necessary during EPC Phase execution
ALNG2 - Interface Project Engineer - Job Description
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum ten years project engineering with some relevant Client experience
Gas processing or LNG Project
The position requires a combination of strong technical knowledge, analytical and innovative skills, commercial recognition and proactive project management
Significant relevant multi-discipline engineering experience within the oil, gas and / or LNG industry is required, with considerable experience in planning and project engineering.
A good experience in planning, budgeting and managing contractual and execution of critical and complex project interfaces.
Conversant with International standards and execution best practice
A strong supporter and champion of HSE standards and good practice
Good man-management, interpersonal, organization skills and ability to work independently are essential.
Good communication skills both written and verbal and an aptitude for taking initiatives are essential, as is the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
Ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders.
Thorough understanding of the risks and the technical/commercial issues associated with the development of oil, gas and LNG projects.
Proven track record of result deliveries in challenging project environments.
Strong capabilities in problem solving in complex project and business environments
Experience in working within a multi-cultural environment
