Key Responsibilities

Review products and substances to assess regulatory compliance and identify registration requirements across Europe and the Americas
Prepare, maintain, and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labels in accordance with GHS and applicable regional regulations
Manage product and substance registrations, including preparation and submission of regulatory dossiers (e.g. REACH, TSCA and equivalent inventories)
Respond to internal and external customer regulatory enquiries in a timely and professional manner
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments across relevant markets and assess their impact on the business
Prepare regulatory compliance statements and customer declarations aligned with current regional requirements
Collaborate with R&D, Sales, and Marketing to provide regulatory input throughout the product development lifecycle, including stage-gate processes
Contribute to Management of Change processes by reviewing new or modified product compositions for regulatory compliance
Deliver training to internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements including GHS, SDS authoring, and chemical control obligations
Represent the company's interests at relevant industry associations and external scientific or regulatory forums, as required
Support ongoing monitoring and maintenance of compliance across the existing product portfolio

Key Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, or a closely related scientific discipline
Minimum five years of hands-on experience in Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs, or Regulatory Compliance within the chemical industry
Practical experience preparing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labels
Demonstrable experience managing product or substance registrations (e.g. REACH, TSCA or equivalent)
Ability to interpret and apply international chemical regulations across multiple jurisdictions
Full professional proficiency in both Dutch and English (written and verbal), essential
Comfortable responding directly to customer regulatory enquiries with clarity and confidence
Broad, adaptable approach to regulatory compliance, not limited to a single regulatory framework or product category
Ability to collaborate effectively across technical, commercial, and operational teams
Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 5% of working time)

Salary Range: €75,000 to €95,000 base p/a + extensive beneftis package
