Our client is seeking an experienced Regulatory Ecotoxicologist to join their expanding regulatory science team. This is an excellent opportunity for a scientifically driven regulatory professional to contribute to the registration and stewardship of both conventional and biological crop protection Active Substance and Products across Europe.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality regulatory ecotoxicology support to a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from innovative start-ups to globally recognised organisations. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and write ecotoxicology dossier sections for active substances and formulated products
Conduct data gap analyses and preliminary risk assessments
Evaluate ecotoxicological studies and technical reports
Support preparation of regulatory submissions across Europe
Develop registration strategies alongside senior regulatory experts
Coordinate and monitor lower-tier and higher-tier ecotoxicology studies
Liaise with laboratories, study directors, and cross-functional scientific teams
Support dossier stewardship and post-submission defence activities
Monitor developments in regulatory legislation, guidance, and scientific best practice
Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, and scientific conferences
Contribute to scientific publications, webinars, posters, and other regulatory science initiatives
Support project planning, scheduling, and delivery activities

Key Requirements

Approximately 8–12 years of regulatory ecotoxicology experience
Strong experience supporting both active substances and formulated products
Demonstrated expertise in ecotoxicology dossier preparation and scientific writing
Practical knowledge of EU Plant Protection Product regulations
Experience conducting environmental risk assessments and data evaluations
Strong understanding of regulatory data requirements and study interpretation
Professional working knowledge of IUCLID
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience within regulatory consulting is highly desirable
Candidates from industry or competent authorities will also be considered
Fluent English communication skills
