Role: Lecturer Travel and Tourism:
Location: Grays, Essex.
Type: Full Time - Temporary.
Salary: up to £42 per hour
Start: Sept

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across Travel and Tourism programmes at Levels 1–3, supporting strong student engagement, progress, and achievement.
• Plan and develop engaging lessons, learning materials, assessments, and practical activities in line with Further Education curriculum requirements.
• Provide academic and pastoral support, constructive feedback, and monitor student progress, attendance, and achievement.
• Incorporate current travel and tourism industry practices, real-world examples, case studies, and employability skills into teaching.

Requirements:

• Degree or relevant professional qualification in Travel and Tourism, Tourism Management, Hospitality, Aviation, or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Travel and Tourism within a UK Further Education (FE) college, ideally at Levels 1–3.
• A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent, or willingness to work towards one.
