Receptionist

Salary: USD17.75 - USD17.75 per hour

Beacon Hill Associates is hiring a Workplace Associate to support daily office operations and provide front-desk administrative and facilities coordination support. This role serves as the first point of contact onsite and plays a key part in maintaining a professional, welcoming, and well-organized workplace environment.


Assignment Details

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Pay Rate: $17.75/hour


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Site Operations

  • Create a welcoming, professional environment for employees and visitors

  • Handle internal and external communications, including monitoring the main phone line

  • Support daily workplace and facilities operations

  • Schedule, coordinate, and communicate maintenance activities

  • Manage internal work order systems and invoice processing

  • Provide administrative support to workplace and project teams

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Workplace Experience

  • Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service

  • Direct employees and visitors to appropriate points of contact

  • Monitor office and facility conditions and ensure follow-up

  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers

  • Assist with meeting and conference room reservations

Visitor Management

  • Manage visitor registration and access

  • Ensure compliance with visitor access procedures

  • Assist with emergency response protocols when required

Kitchen & Office Support

  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and break areas

  • Monitor and stock office and kitchen supplies

  • Coordinate service and repairs for office equipment as needed

Mail Services

  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages

  • Process outgoing and overnight shipments

Compliance & Administration

  • Administer and maintain badge access

  • Support basic reporting and administrative tracking

  • Follow all safety and workplace guidelines


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong administrative or office support experience

  • 2+ years of experience in facilities or property administration
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to remain professional in high-volume or stressful situations

  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities

  • Experience with work order or CMMS systems preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Advanced Excel skills for administrative reporting preferred
